Emilee, Christian, Aubrie

Cheri does such a terrific job cutifying the kids.

Aubrie is Emilee and Christian's favorite toy.  They can't get enough of her, though I'm not so sure the feeling is mutual.  Can you say, "Get out of my space!!" in baby language (several times a day).

Christian

This was a cute pose for Aubrie, so it must work for Christian too.  And this time, it worked.  Not hard for the ham he is.

Family of Tzars

This was Christian's idea.  "Go get the camera, Dad!"

Cheri

My wonderful wife, does such a good job making our house a home.

Aubrie, Feb. 5

It's not hard to get Aubrie to smile.  She does it nearly every time.  Even in a middle of a good hard cry, she'll pause long enough to give you a smile, then go back to crying (usually for more of that delicious mommy milk).

Snow Fort: Jan. 8 - 24+

On Jan. 8, Christian, wanted me to 'build a big, big, big, big, big, big snow man.'  When I was putting on the last block, I asked him, "Is this high enough?"

He said, "No.  Built it up to the top of the roof," pointing some 20 feet up at the roof of our house.  Then he changed his mind.  "No, build it up to the sky."

Hard to please.

When I was done (last brick, not according to his vision), he immediately said, "Now build another one."

He got the snow man a couple of weeks later as the southern exposure of the fort melted.

finally crumbled two or three days later

that a friend sent me, Jan. 10.

The family has been patient with me as I have been working all hours, day in and day out since November, to launch Pure Energy Systems, which is coming along slowly but surely.

The Wal-Mart photos we took this time around were complete duds, so Cheri wanted to see what she could come up with -- just to savor the memory of what our children look like at this time.
